The Parliament’s Committee on National Security Services has greenlit the importation of Methylphenidate, a critical medication used in the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Although the drug is currently classified as a prohibited substance under the Narcotics Act, the committee decided to remove it from the restricted list following a recommendation from the Cabinet. Methylphenidate is globally recognized as a first-line treatment essential for managing and alleviating the symptoms of ADHD.
