According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Finance, grant assistance received as of the 4th of this month has reached MVR 393.6 million, surpassing the initial annual projection of MVR 373.6 million. This marks a significant improvement compared to the same period last year. Total state revenue has also seen a 10 percent increase over the previous year, amounting to MVR 19 billion, with tax revenue accounting for 78 percent of the total income. Notably, there has been a substantial growth in revenue collected from TGST and GST.
