The First Lady, Madam Sajidha Mohamed, has participated in a special event highlighting Sri Lankan tea culture, hosted by the Mayor of Colombo.
The event, held at the Mayor’s official residence, featured traditional tea-brewing demonstrations, a showcase of local culinary specialities, and an exhibition of children’s artwork. During the engagement, the First Lady and the Mayor discussed various initiatives related to social development and community welfare, reaffirming their shared commitment to collaborative efforts in these areas.
This visit to the Mayor’s residence was conducted as part of the President’s ongoing state visit to Sri Lanka.
