
The 10th edition of the Maldives Business Forum, aimed at showcasing the nation’s investment potential to international stakeholders, has been held in Sri Lanka. The forum was graced by the President of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, and the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, with approximately 300 investors from both countries in attendance. During the session, detailed presentations were shared regarding opportunities in key sectors such as tourism, fisheries, and agriculture. Furthermore, information was provided on major infrastructure initiatives, including the Ras Malé project and the development of Thilafushi Port. This forum is part of a strategic series of international events held in countries such as China, the UAE, and Singapore, designed to promote the Maldives’ economic opportunities on a global stage.
