Under the project to modernize Boduthakurufaanu Magu, MTCC is preparing to begin asphalt paving on a 700-meter stretch from Izzudheen Jetty to the Henveiru Ferry Terminal this June. While a significant portion of Segment 5 is currently ready for paving, work on other segments—including sheet piling, the installation of water and sewerage networks, and pavement construction—is progressing rapidly. The company aims to have all segments ready for asphalt laying by the end of June, with the goal of completing the entire project by July.
