President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Mohamed Ramiz (G. Lifadhoo), a former member of the People’s Majlis and the Special Majlis, who also made significant contributions to the nation’s trade and tourism sectors. In his message, the President offered prayers for the deceased to be granted eternal peace in Jannah and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family. Mohamed Ramiz passed away at the age of 74. His funeral prayer is scheduled to be held today at the Islamic Centre following the Asr prayer.
