The former Minister of Finance, Moosa Zameer, resigned from his position citing health concerns that hindered his ability to fully discharge his ministerial responsibilities. Despite his resignation, he assured his continued commitment to advancing the policies of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and the ideology of the People’s National Congress (PNC). Zameer praised President Muizzu’s robust economic strategies aimed at stabilizing the nation’s financial situation and managing its debt. Having served in several key government roles, Zameer noted that his departure also paves the way for the talented youth within the PNC to take on leadership opportunities.
