Deputy Speaker of the People’s Majlis, Ahmed Saleem, has stated that despite having no personal interest in assuming the position due to his private business commitments, he accepted the role to prioritize the interests and unity of his party. Furthermore, expressing his preference for a modest lifestyle, he mentioned that he has declined the official vehicle provided to him by virtue of his office. He also highlighted that while security measures are important, true protection is found through placing one’s trust in Almighty Allah.
