Visit Maldives has officially inaugurated “Creatoll,” a dedicated digital marketplace designed for Maldivian creators to showcase and monetize their professional assets, such as high-quality photography and videography. This modern platform serves as a streamlined resource for acquiring premium content to promote the Maldives, while simultaneously creating new avenues for local talent to generate sustainable income from their creative work.
Under this initiative, the platform will also feature curated content from Public Service Media’s (PSM) extensive 50-year archive, making historical media accessible to users. “Creatoll” empowers creators by allowing them to establish personal profiles, determine their own pricing, and maintain intellectual property rights over their work. The ultimate goal of this project is to foster the growth of the Maldivian creative economy and elevate the work of local artists to a global audience.
