Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the second batch of the National Service Program, Minister of Defence Hassan Rasheed urged the youth to distance themselves from negative social influences and to effectively utilize the skills acquired during their training.
The Minister highlighted that this program, initiated under the President’s leadership, is a successful endeavor aimed at empowering and building the character of young people. He further announced that two additional batches are scheduled to be conducted during the remainder of this year.
Minister Rasheed also encouraged the graduates to fulfill the aspirations of their parents by applying the religious, academic, and physical discipline learned through the program. Additionally, he paid tribute to the memory of a courageous soldier who had dedicated his life to national service.
