President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed graced the official parade and cultural performances held at Republic Square to commemorate the 60th Independence Day of the Maldives. The ceremony was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib, Member of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia, along with high-level state dignitaries and the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. The event featured a grand ceremonial parade by the Maldives National Defence Force and the National Cadet Corps, as well as vibrant cultural displays and performances by school students. The festivities concluded with a spectacular and colorful fireworks display.
