In his message on the occasion of the 132nd Anniversary of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized that the Maldivian military stands as the largest and most capable force dedicated to the protection of the people. Reflecting on the 132-year history of military service, the President noted that its foundation is built upon the courageous sacrifices of martyrs and the valiance of those who have served. He further expressed his profound gratitude to the service members and their families. To commemorate the occasion, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held, with a military parade and an official ceremony to honor distinguished personnel scheduled for early next month.
