President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed his commitment to implementing necessary governmental reforms in accordance with the public’s sentiments, while expressing his respectful acceptance of the results of yesterday’s elections. In his message congratulating the successful candidates, the President assured that efforts to refine and improve state affairs based on the will of the people will continue unabated. The elections held today included by-elections for local councils and Women’s Development Committees, alongside a public referendum regarding a constitutional amendment.
