The Criminal Court has issued a verdict finding Haleemath Lamha guilty of involvement in the murder of Mary Grace, a nurse who was employed at IGMH. This ruling follows the court’s earlier conviction of Mary’s husband, Marvin, in connection with the same case. Sentencing for both individuals is scheduled for next month.
According to the prosecution, Marvin and Lamha conspired to murder Mary, with Lamha taking responsibility for looking after Mary’s child while the crime was being committed. Despite their attempts to stage the death as a suicide, the court has ruled that the evidence sufficiently proves the guilt of both defendants in the premeditated killing.
