In a direct retaliatory move following U.S. strikes on Iran’s Qeshm Island, Iranian forces launched airstrikes targeting American military installations situated in Kuwait and Bahrain.
Amidst this surge in hostilities, a vessel navigating the Strait of Hormuz was also reportedly attacked. Despite the heightened state of conflict, the U.S. President has stated that diplomatic communications between the two countries are still ongoing.
