The President highlighted that, under his administration, no political leaders or former presidents have been unjustly detained, emphasizing that opposition figures are granted full freedom to conduct their political activities. Furthermore, he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to upholding democratic principles by ensuring the broadest possible scope for freedom of expression and media. In his remarks, President Muizzu also urged the public to exercise these freedoms responsibly, staying within the bounds of Islamic principles and the nation’s legal framework.
