President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has inspected the preparatory works for the 1,224-unit housing project in Hulhumalé Phase 2, a collaborative initiative between the Bank of Maldives and China’s CMEC. During his visit, the President emphasized the importance of expediting the project’s progress. In response, CMEC provided assurances that the work will be completed in accordance with the established timeline. Physical works for the project have already commenced, with an objective to reach completion by mid-2028.
