A video has surfaced showing former President Mohamed Nasheed congratulating and offering words of encouragement to Ali Juman, widely known as “Death,” following his release from prison. Juman gained notoriety for his public advocacy of cannabis legalization in the Maldives and for speeches previously delivered at the MDP headquarters while in an intoxicated state. However, the footage released today captures Juman responding to the former president’s encouragement with verbal abuse and direct criticism.
