Minister of Foreign Affairs Iruthisham Adam held telephone conversations with her counterparts from India and Sri Lanka to discuss the further enhancement of long-standing bilateral relations. During the dialogue with the Indian Foreign Minister, she highlighted that the recently established 30 billion Indian Rupee currency swap facility stands as a testament to India’s continued support for the Maldives. Similarly, in discussions with the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister, both parties underscored the importance of further consolidating the close ties and enduring friendship between the two nations in the years ahead.
