
Special flag-raising ceremonies have been held in Male’ and across various police stations in the atolls to mark the 93rd anniversary of the Maldives Police Service. The primary ceremony held in the capital, Male’, was graced by the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Honorable Ali Ihsan.
The proceedings included the recitation of the police oath and a special prayer. In addition to these formalities, a book of condolences was opened in memory of the late Al-Marhoom Abdul Shukur Abdullah and Al-Usthaaz Hassan Hameed, both of whom were recognized for their extensive and dedicated service to the state. The events were attended by senior police leadership and a significant number of officers and staff.
