Moosa Ali Jaleel, a leading candidate for the position of Malé City Mayor, has received an outpouring of support from a significant number of the city’s business owners. During a meeting held today, members of the business community highlighted the critical challenges they face, particularly regarding parking constraints and the difficulties associated with goods warehousing.
In response to these concerns, Moosa Jaleel stated that the development of dedicated parking buildings would provide a sustainable solution to the city’s congestion. He also pledged to address the warehousing crisis by facilitating the relocation of storage facilities to more appropriate designated areas. It is noteworthy that the government has already finalized plans to construct a total of seven parking buildings within the Malé region, with work on the first structure already in progress.
