During his official visit to India, the Maldivian Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, held high-level discussions with the Indian Minister of Commerce regarding the establishment of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the finalization of a bilateral investment treaty.
The meeting focused on achieving sustainable economic development, exploring new commercial opportunities, and fostering a conducive environment for investors from both nations. Furthermore, both parties emphasized that such agreements would elevate the long-standing economic partnership between the Maldives and India to a new height.
