The State Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supply Corporation is currently developing a specialized electronic system designed to forecast the nation’s medicinal requirements and effectively resolve supply chain challenges. Managing Director Dr. Shah Mahir stated that the implementation of this e-logistics system will facilitate the monitoring of pharmaceutical demand across various islands, ensuring an uninterrupted and consistent supply of essential medicines.
In addition to internal management, a public portal will be introduced to allow the general public to verify the availability of medicines at different locations. The corporation aims to complete the development of this system by September. Furthermore, efforts are underway to procure and replenish currently unavailable medicines within the next two weeks.
