MTCC has announced the successful completion of the quay wall construction as part of the K. Huraa Harbor Development Project. To date, 50% of the overall project has been completed, with pavement work reaching 95% and concrete jetty construction at 30%.
This project, valued at MVR 27.23 million, is a government initiative aimed at providing a sustainable solution to the long-standing maritime and transportation challenges faced by the residents of Huraa. Based on the current progress, MTCC estimates that all aspects of the harbor project will be fully finalized within the next 11 months.
