Under the first phase of the Boduthakurufaanu Magu redevelopment project, a substantial portion of the sheet piling works for segments 2, 3, and 4 has been completed, covering 400 meters to date. As part of this ongoing project by MTCC, quay wall capping, sidewalk construction, and the installation of drainage and sewerage systems are also progressing at a rapid pace. This initial phase, spanning an 838-meter stretch from the Local Market to the Henveiru Ferry Terminal, was contracted to MTCC for a total value of MVR 144 million.
