The Ambassador of the Maldives to the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed Hussain Shareef, met with the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism to discuss strengthening bilateral ties in the fields of trade and tourism, as well as elevating economic cooperation to new heights. Notably, over 8,000 tourists from the UAE visited the Maldives during the first seven months of this year.
