Speaking at the function held to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the Maldives Police Service, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu highlighted that strengthening the nation’s defense and law enforcement agencies remains a top priority of the administration. The President expressed his profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by police officers and their families in the service of the nation, and commended their dedicated efforts in maintaining community peace and stability.
To further advance the police service, President Muizzu assured full government support in refining the legal framework, upgrading infrastructure, and enhancing human resource development. Furthermore, he pledged to provide a permanent solution to the housing challenges faced by police personnel. During the ceremony, the President also presented medals, insignias, and plaques of recognition to officers for their distinguished and exceptional service.
