President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his profound condolences to the family of the late Al-Fadhilatus-Sheikh Ismail Mohamed. In his tribute, the President highlighted that Sheikh Ismail was a distinguished recipient of the National Award, who rendered invaluable services to the nation. His significant contributions included the dissemination of religious knowledge, facilitating higher education opportunities for numerous students, and his extensive work in translating religious literature. As a leading figure within the Maldivian scholarly community, the funeral service for the late Sheikh is scheduled to be held at the Islamic Center today, following the Dhuhr prayer.
