The People’s National Congress (PNC) General Assembly has decided to advance the date of its upcoming party congress to avoid a conflict with the scheduled O-Level examinations. This proposal, submitted by the Party’s President, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, was passed unanimously by the members present at last night’s meeting. The primary objective of this congress is to strengthen the party’s democratic internal structure and to appoint individuals committed to the national interest to key positions within the party’s constituencies and island steering committees.
