President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the Sri Lankan government has provided assurances of a permanent resolution to the visa difficulties faced by Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka. During his visit, the President highlighted that productive high-level discussions were held to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in trade and investment between the two nations.
Furthermore, the President noted that efforts are underway to establish a Bank of Maldives branch in Sri Lanka. He also shared plans to renovate the infrastructure and facilities of Sosun Villa, which will include the development of a new indoor sports complex at the premises.
