The Maldives Hajj Corporation has announced major improvements to the services and facilities arranged for Maldivian pilgrims this year, focusing on accommodations in Makkah and logistical arrangements in Mina.
According to the Corporation, extensive renovations have been carried out at the pilgrims’ hotel, including the replacement of furniture and carpets to ensure a more comfortable stay. Furthermore, facilities for religious lectures have been upgraded, and essential services such as laundry and buggy transport have been significantly strengthened.
A notable improvement has also been made in Mina, where the number of restrooms allocated for Maldivian pilgrims has been quadrupled. Additionally, the designated area in Mina has been secured as an exclusive zone solely for the use of Maldivian pilgrims. The departure of Hajj pilgrims from the Maldives is scheduled to commence on the 15th of this month.
