The Road Development Corporation (RDC) has announced the decision to reconstruct and re-asphalt the western section of Ameenee Magu, extending from Ghiyasuddin International School, due to the significant deterioration of the current road surface.
Preparations are currently underway to commence the project within the next two weeks. The scope of work involves the complete removal of the existing asphalt and the application of a higher-quality surface to ensure long-term durability. To maintain rigorous technical standards throughout the process, RDC has also decided to engage the expertise of an international road engineer. This initiative follows a major redevelopment project of Ameenee Magu that was conducted during the previous year.
