The “Eid Haviru” festivities, organized to mark this year’s Eid al-Fitr, concluded today following three days of remarkable public engagement across Malé, Hulhumalé, and Villingili. This grand event, coordinated by 12 different institutions—including the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) and various state-owned enterprises—featured a diverse array of interactive stalls and activities designed to captivate children and the general public alike. These celebrations were successfully hosted across four key locations: Republic Square and Sultan Park in Malé, both phases of Hulhumalé, and the island of Villingili.
