
As part of his trips to islands across the atolls to assess the condition of the people, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed on an official visit to the islands of South Maalhosmadulu Atoll (B. Atoll). This four-day trip began this morning.
During this trip, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu will visit the inhabited islands of B. Atoll, meet with councils and women’s development committees, and discuss the development needs and priorities of the people. He will also meet with the residents of these islands to assess their living conditions.
The President’s itinerary includes visits to 13 inhabited islands in South Maalhosmadulu Atoll. These islands are Kamadhoo, Kudarikilu, Kendhoo, Eydhafushi, Thulhaadhoo, Goidhoo, Fehendhoo, Fulhadhoo, Hithaadhoo, Kihaadhoo, Dhonfanu, Dharavandhoo, and Maalhos.
This trip is part of a series of visits the President is undertaking to all atolls in the Maldives, meeting with atoll, island, and city councils.
Some cabinet ministers and heads of government institutions are accompanying the President on this trip.
