President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has highlighted the overwhelming response to the recently introduced PayPal services in the Maldives. The President revealed that 3,280 parties have already integrated with the service, describing it as a significant opportunity for the advancement of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the country.
He further noted that this service, which previous administrations had been unable to secure, was officially launched on the 15th of this month through Ooredoo m-Faisaa. The President also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to further expanding these services and working towards the establishment of a modern and robust financial system in the Maldives.
