Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Young Khatheebs’ Conference, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated that the training of over 700 young khatheebs brings new vitality and great joy to the Islamic environment of the Maldives. He highlighted that throughout Islamic and Maldivian history, youth have made invaluable sacrifices in propagating the faith and pursuing knowledge. The President further described these young khatheebs as mentors who will shape the nation’s intellectual discourse and foster Islamic virtues in the future, while urging them to prioritize the preservation of human dignity and the maintenance of social harmony.
