Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has stated that the establishment of a yacht marina in HA. Uligan will transform the northern region into a pivotal hub for international yachts. The project, contracted by MPL to SAS E-Construction, is scheduled to commence physical works this month. In its first phase, the marina will accommodate up to 18 yachts simultaneously and will feature essential amenities, alongside dedicated Customs and Immigration services. Strategically located near international maritime routes, this initiative aims to provide comprehensive services to visiting tourists while significantly enhancing the economic contributions of the Maldives’ maritime and tourism sectors.
