Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 8th International Teachers’ Conference, Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef stated that the knowledge and expertise of teachers are vital in shaping the future of students within a rapidly changing world. He noted that while technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have brought significant benefits to the education sector, the fundamental role of a responsible teacher remains irreplaceable by any technological advancement. Furthermore, the Vice President highlighted the importance of providing personalized learning opportunities tailored to each student’s potential, as well as the necessity of promoting technical and vocational education for the nation’s progress.
