
In a resolution issued at the BRICS Summit currently held in New Delhi, member states have called for an immediate de-escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, urging that disputes be resolved through diplomacy and dialogue. The resolution further expressed concern regarding the imposition of restrictive measures that obstruct international trade. Despite the inclusion of member states with diverging perspectives, such as Iran and the U.S.-aligned United Arab Emirates, the resolution was adopted with the consensus of all participating nations.
