
Minister Mohamed Saeed has highlighted the overwhelming public response to the “Male’ Taxi Line” service, which commenced operations in Villimale’ on June 18. According to the latest statistics, more than 500 residents in Villimale’ and over 6,900 individuals across the Greater Male’ region have utilized the service within this brief period.
While a significant number of users have opted for web-based bookings, the dedicated call center continues to provide efficient and timely assistance. This service, which facilitates bookings through a specialized application and a hotline, is an initiative launched under the guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to address the prevailing transportation challenges in the Greater Male’ area.
Furthermore, the administration is currently in the process of formulating a comprehensive strategic plan to provide sustainable solutions for road congestion and parking difficulties.
