The number of tourists visiting the Maldives via cruise liners so far this year has seen a significant increase of 89% compared to the same period last year. According to official statistics, a total of 15,577 tourists arrived through this medium, with the highest influx recorded during the month of February. The majority of these visitors originated from France. Overall, total tourist arrivals have reached 1.2 million, with China maintaining its position as the primary source market for the Maldives.
