In celebration of MIRA’s 16th anniversary, the “Ran Laari” award has been presented to 20 entities that demonstrated exceptional tax compliance and contributed the highest revenues to the state. These awards, spanning 12 distinct categories, were secured by various stakeholders, including resorts, hotels, guest houses, and travel agencies within the tourism sector. Additionally, major corporations such as TMA, Etihad Airways, BML, and Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun (Dhiraagu) were among the recipients in their respective categories. This prestigious award serves as a symbol of recognition to encourage taxpayers to fulfill their legal obligations and contribute to national development.
