Prosecutor General Al-Usthazu Abbas Shareef has stated that the operations of the Criminal Court, the Maldives Police Service, and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have become significantly more efficient. He specifically highlighted that the prolonged delays in resolving cases at the Criminal Court have been addressed, with trials now proceeding at an expedited pace. Furthermore, the Prosecutor General noted that efforts to digitalize the entire justice system through the integration of Artificial Intelligence under the “PGO 2.0” project are underway. He also acknowledged the full cooperation and support of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and the Government in achieving these strategic objectives.
