President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that a significant solution to the ongoing challenges in medicine availability will be achieved within the next two months. To address this issue effectively, the government’s newly established “State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply” company is currently undertaking extensive efforts. The President noted that by June or July, there will be a substantial improvement in the supply of essential medicines. Furthermore, as part of these reforms, all pharmacies currently operating under STO will be transferred to the new company effective July 1st, a move aimed at further strengthening and streamlining the national pharmaceutical system.
