New Radiant Sports Club launched their Dhivehi Premier League campaign with a significant 2-0 victory over Gadhdhoo Recreation Club in the league’s historic first match played outside the capital. In the match held at Gadhdhoo Stadium, Brazilian forward Dorielton (Dory) netted both goals with headers, both assisted by Gomes da Silva. Following the match, which was rescheduled by a day due to adverse weather conditions, New Radiant will face Maziya in their next fixture, while Gadhdhoo is set to host Club Eagles on their home turf.
