
New Ambassadors from eight different countries, appointed to the Republic of Maldives, have formally presented their Letters of Credence to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The credential presentation ceremonies, held with official honors at the President’s Office, included ambassadors from Namibia, Slovenia, Somalia, Kosovo, Fiji, Qatar, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic.
During the subsequent meetings, discussions primarily focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including tourism, fisheries, healthcare, education, climate change, and economic development. Both the President and the respective Ambassadors reaffirmed their commitment to elevating the diplomatic relations between the Maldives and these nations to new heights in the coming years.
