President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the establishment of fitness and recreation centers across all islands of the Maldives is scheduled for completion by November next year. As part of the government’s broader initiative to empower the youth, various modern facilities are currently being developed in Malé and the atolls, including indoor gaming centers, racing tracks, go-kart arenas, surfing stadiums, and bowling alleys. While a significant portion of these projects is expected to be finalized by early 2028, these efforts underscore the administration’s commitment to fostering a healthy and active younger generation.
