Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has stated that the activities organized to commemorate MSME Day are strategically designed to support aspiring young entrepreneurs and reinforce the government’s economic agenda. As part of these celebrations, the “MSME Fest” was hosted in Hulhumale to provide essential information to small businesses, complemented by consultative sessions held across various regions of the country.
The Minister emphasized that the primary objective of these initiatives is to align with the President’s economic vision. This includes empowering the youth to leverage digital tools and international payment platforms, such as PayPal, to introduce Maldivian products to global markets and facilitate sustainable income-generation opportunities.
