As part of cost-cutting measures implemented in response to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has decided to shorten the working hours for its administrative staff. Starting tomorrow, the new working hours will be from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Despite this change, the company confirmed that there will be no disruptions to its general operations or retail services. Furthermore, MIFCO has instructed the implementation of measures to reduce electricity and fuel consumption, and advised that only essential travel should be undertaken during this period.
