Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has introduced “FaisaRemit,” a convenient digital service that enables customers to transfer funds to 15 countries worldwide via the FaisaNet platform without visiting a physical branch. This service allows for transfers ranging from USD 50 to USD 5,000 directly to international bank accounts and e-wallets, with most transactions being processed instantly or within a maximum of two business days. Furthermore, the platform provides full transparency by allowing customers to view applicable fees, exchange rates, and the final amount to be received before finalizing the transaction.
